It's always so hard to think of a title

Hello my bbz! How are you? You've probably started your posting right? I hope it's going well. I like to go through my phone notifications first thing in the morning which meant reading things half- asleep. So, when i clicked on the link to this blog, I WAS SO CONFUSED. The posts seemed so familiar but I didn't remember why. Mega brain- fart haha and it took me awhile to process everything before I clicked on your post. I think it's great that we're reviving the blog again, I miss you a lot and having long messages from you to read over breakfast seem like a great way to start my day :) You're also much sassier haha I'll try my best to upload whenever i'm free too.

I'm also having mega throwback vibes just by typing this post! I spent the past half an hour looking through all of my old posts, and ohmygod I was so lame. and cringey. and weird. eek! I don't know why I typed the way I did, it's so embarrassing but funny nonetheless. I hope i'm not the only one who feels this way. What about you?

My past week have been pretty uneventful besides the foodie trip on monday and eye lash extensions. Meeting up with Jeslyn and Celina was fun! We went around Klang to look for yummy food and it all ended at Llaollao, Sunway Pyramid. Celina finally tried it and she liked it! However, she definitely wasn't crazy about it like we are haha We had three diff toppings- lotus caramelised sauce, chocorock sauce and bananas, and Celina liked the lotus sauce the most (because who wouldn't, it's so good!)

I pretty much spent Tues and Wed hoping that Thurs would come faster so that I could get my eye lashes done. I was so excited! I decided to go even though my mum said it was unnecessary, which I agree but it was too darn cheap to say no! Rm39! I was also quite curious how it'd turn out. Will I hate my natural lashes and do it for the rest of my life? HMMMMMMM and going with girlfriends made it seem more fun than it actually is haha

It started off with a consultation to decide the type, curl, length and style of lashes I wanted. There were so many options that I really didn't know how to go about it. In the end, I just went with whichever would look the most natural. The whole process took only 30 mins because I took the 60 lashes package (30 per eye), which is pretty much the beginner level of lash extensions. Most people go from 100-200++ After cleaning off any eye makeup, the beautician taped down my lower eye lashes. IT WAS SO WEIRD, I KEPT TEARING BUT BEAUTY IS PAIN RIGHT?! Then she started to stick on the individual lashes.

Here's the before and after pic:
Look at that strabismus!

I think they turned out pretty well and it's so comfortable. Karyan looked AMAZING with hers because she already has beautiful eyes even though her lashes were pretty much non- existent. I think I spent more time staring at her eyes than my own when we first got them done! However, now that I'm back home, I catch myself looking at my eyes way more often than i used to :p

Now, you must be wondering whether I'd do it again? Was it worth the money? Well, I'd say I'm not sure yet. I did top up another RM20 for better quality lashes- apparently the RM39 one would only last two weeks, so might as well upgrade right? and so far, about 8 lashes have fallen off. My heart breaks whenever I see my money drop off. Kinda reminds me of how washing your purple hair was pretty much watching money go down the drain. But, obviously mine was just a tiny loss compared to yours.

I also realised that it's troublesome to maintain them. You can't use oil- based removers (which i normally use) and you can't wipe them dry with a towel. However, they definitely are pretty and makes me feel like a goddess! My mum who was initially against the idea actually likes them and thought I should've done something more dramatic.

 What do you think?

Anyways, I guess that's all I wanna say, till next time!

Lots of love,
yuxin
